A robot that autonomously drives and stops at an infrared ball. This is one of my first engineering projects I did at Rose-Hulman's Operation Catapult that really sparked my interest in computer engineering. I worked on the programming along with some the electrical work.
For our final capstone project, our group of 7 made an interactive periodic table as installation art for Benedum. Press the element and more information on the element appears on the monitor.
The Defenders is a children's game that, unlike many other games, doesn't enforce male and female stereotypes. The game takes place in the Cathedral of Learning and there are 42 levels for the 42 floors. At the end, the character must stand up to a bully to win the game.
Another fabrication project! I created an owl automaton, whose wings flap and head turns. This is a little twist on paper automata by adding elements that simplify some of the paper elements. I used an owl template and basically came up with the rest on my own. Twas a individual assignment.
PopQs is an app built for Android that functions as a multiple-choice quiz app, as well as a reminder to study. The reminder function of the app works through a popup window which appears at time intervals specified by the user. This would help language learners, especially targeting busy college students.
This is the redbot that I assembled named Ruby Redbot. I programmed my redbot to sing and dance to Shake it Off by Taylor Swift. Also, I did a collaboration with Ryan Tan so that our robots did a duet dance. Also, I programmed my robot to travel in a perfect square 1x1m and have a bump start feature to activate the dance/move.
